Personal Branding Defined

If you have given yourself permission to be excellent, consider sharing that excellence with others through personal branding.  Your personal brand is the reason why others find what you do remarkable enough to spread the word about your value. Your value is what you do uniquely well to help others address opportunities or solve problems that matter to them.

What others say about you defines your brand. If no one is spreading the word about what you can do, then you have very little brand value.

Once you identify your unique value, social media can help you document and target your value for those that need it. Your value is the currency of your social capital.

Personal branding is one of the smartest things you can do for yourself and your business.
